Margate Beach Cross – Important News

These are never the nicest things to write, however we have made the decision to cancel the BXUK event this weekend.

We know everyone involved puts so much effort in to making these events a success; it is all very much appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

However, due to the unforeseen events of the last 24 hours, this weekend’s Championship round has been cancelled.

Every rider who has entered will be refunded their entry fee.

We’ll keep you updated, but please feel free to contact Steve ( or Gaynor if you have any questions.

Thank you all so much for your support, commitment and understanding.

Yours on all fours,

Competitors Ramped Up For Arrival

Competitors Ramped Up For Arrival

Competitors are reminded to use the ramp to the promenade which is opposite Bar Rumba on arrival from Friday onwards and that window passes will be issued on arrival – and don’t worry, we will come and find you!

If you are looking for food, drink and hospitality there are many places around, we will be using Bar Rumba as a base when time permits.

Spectators coming to watch the two days of fast and furious racing are reminded that there is ample parking adjacent to the beach and not to attempt to park on the promenade. Parking can be accessed via the crossroads at Fantasy Island down Sea Lane. Click here for details.

Volunteer Marshalls Required

Volunteer Marshalls Required

Fancy a weekend of getting close to the race action at Ingoldmells?

We are looking for just 6 more volunteer marshalls to help run the event, manning jumps and corners. You don’t need any special skills – all details are covered in the pre-race briefing.

Marshalls are an essential part of any motor sport and events cannot run without them…and it’s the closest you can get to the action without being on the bike itself!

To get involved get in touch with us via email at or phone Tony on 07774 434 468.

Ingoldmells Beach Cross Day 1

Ingoldmells Beach Cross Day 1

A great day of racing on the beach at Ingoldmells yesterday and even the sun came out to play! We will be doing it all over again today (Sunday) and look forward to seeing you all down on the beach.

If you fancy being part of the action you can always be a volunteer marshall – click here for details.

Spitfire Flypast at Ingoldmells

Spitfire Flypast at Ingoldmells

During all the action at Ingoldmells Beach yesterday we were also treated to a flypast by a Spitfire aircraft over the water – not just once but 3 times!

Just wondering what the Red Arrows are up to next year… 😉
